On Saturday 1st August we had the tremendous joy of celebrating Sr. Helen Mary Freer's Solemn Profession.
The Profession Mass was celebrated by Bishop Paul Dempsey, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Dublin.
Our community had the pleasure of being joined by our brother Redemptorists. Fr. Dan Bargary C.Ss.R, delivered a beautiful homily and Fr. Ryan Holovlasky C.Ss.R made sure the ceremony was both dignified and smooth.
Sr. Helen was also joined by faithful friends who have supported her with great love and generosity along her journey.
Some members of the local community who worship with us regularly, our own chaplain Fr. Pat O'Donoghue and some of his most able choir and music group brought the joy of themselves and their talents to enhance the celebration.
We are deeply grateful to them all and to God above all for the gift of our newly Solemnly Professed Sister.
